New Jersey Joins the League: A Night of Heritage, Leadership, and Unity

The Italian American Civil Rights League – New Jersey Chapter officially launched with an unforgettable evening at Gabriella’s Italian Steakhouse in Monmouth County, bringing together community leaders, entrepreneurs, and proud Italian Americans united in celebrating our heritage and strengthening our future.

The evening proudly honored Monmouth County Commissioner Director Tom Arnone for his outstanding dedication to public service and leadership, along with respected entrepreneur Frank Brusco, whose success and commitment reflect the enduring spirit of Italian American enterprise and community pride.

The New Jersey Chapter is led by Founding Co-Chairs Tony Fiore, Jacqueline Tobacco, and Frank Capone, alongside national leadership including IACRL President Mike Crispi, who continue to build momentum around unity, cultural preservation, and advocacy for Italian Americans across the Garden State.

Moments like these remind us that the Italian American story continues to be written — through family, faith, hard work, and community.

From the generations who laid the foundation… to the next generation carrying the torch forward.

The Italian American voice in New Jersey is strong — and growing.

In the spirit of the hardworking values passed down through generations, proceeds from the New Jersey Chapter Launch Event will help fund scholarships and startup grants for young adults ages 18–21 pursuing careers in the skilled trades or launching their own businesses.

Italian Americans have long been defined by resilience, craftsmanship, and an entrepreneurial spirit — building families, businesses, and communities through determination and pride in their work. This initiative reflects those same values by helping the next generation gain the skills, resources, and confidence to forge their own paths.

By investing in trade education and young entrepreneurs, the IACRL is honoring our heritage while empowering the future — ensuring that the traditions of hard work, innovation, and community leadership continue to thrive for generations to come.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous sponsors and supporters who believe in the mission of the Italian American Civil Rights League and whose commitment helps make initiatives like this possible.

Together, we are investing in the future while honoring the legacy that built our community.
